My Campaigns.
I have had the pleasure of working on a handful of mock campaigns throughout my time as a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I really love the creative process of campaigns; it's like a puzzle to figure out how best convey your message with the use of different platforms, content, and target audiences!

Domestic Abuse Awareness
This project was apart of a speech and visual campaign with the goal of raising awareness on domestic abuse in the Madison area. This was done for a class called CA 260: Communication and Human Behavior. For this project, we were asked to imagine that we volunteered for a non-profit organization that we were passionate about; we needed to give a (hypothetical) speech to the city council's annual budgetary meeting and advocate for our organization of our choosing. This project has taught me the importance in advocating and running campaigns in a field that you are really passionate about!

PFAS in Shampoo (1/2)
This project was for a course called CA 368: Theory and Practice of Persuasion. In this project, we were tasked on creating a campaign to raise awareness on PFAS in an everyday product of our choosing. My target audience for this campaign was the University of Wisconsin-Madison community. Prior to this project, I had no idea what a PFAS was, so it was incredibly interesting to learn about this chemical and the kinds of affects it can have on the human body! This was the first campaign that I have ever completed, so it was challenging to try to keep consistency throughout the campaign and to remember my specific goal and target audience. This project, along with the course, has taught me many different persuasion tactics in advertising that I found very helpful, and utilized in my mock posters!

The Importance of Health Insurance (1/2)
This is a part of a mock health campaign about health insurance literacy in young adults ages 18-25. The first image was a mock Instagram ad, and the second image is a mock campaign poster. This mock campaign was for the course CA 518: Communication and Health Inequalities. The goal of this campaign was to raise awareness on the different types of health insurance in addition to the importance of health insurance literacy in young adults at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, before they have to find their own insurance. While working on this project, it was really interesting to note how health insurance literacy has changed over time in addition to how much of an impact it actually has on coverage. The main challenge I experienced was finding the information for my campaign, as the topic that I chose did not have much recent data. Overall, this project taught me how to understand my target audience, specifically what platforms would be best to reach them, as well as how to make similar content for different platforms.
